OPETH, MASTODON, GHOST Spring 2012 Tour touched down in Charlotte
On Thursday, May 10th the sidewalk outside of the Fillmore was lined with the black-shirted hordes of metal fans. The sun beat down and the parking lot filled with people. The doors opened promptly at 7 p.m. and people poured into the venue. The first level of the Fillmore was quickly packed with people and, before long, the stage lights dimmed and choral chanting music began. The back light at the rear of the stage revealed some evil-looking stain glass art work….
